 In 1996 We purchased the Cairns Motel from the late Bradford and Helen Cairns, at the age of 18 & 19yrs, We believe we were the youngest motel owners in the world! Now back in the 90's times were much simpler, as A/C , Microwaves,bar size fridges , large TV's ,hair dryers & coffee makers were not something you would find in a motel room, but this all changed over the years as times changed and our passion for customer satisfaction was and our goal , Now a days we have all the amenities of a chain hotel in our rooms, with a huge focus on cleanliness and comfortable beds , 

  In 2022 We were approached by the Clark Family to purchase their Sunny Isle Motel located directly across the street from Cairns Motel, 

 and with some hesitation we decied to make the move and purchase the Sunny Isle Motel to ensure the tradition of clean comfortable accomdations remain statusquo at that property as well. 

 We have worked hard to make each property equal in value and amenitites, with the addition of a new laundromat with 24 hour access, as well as adding the ice maker in the laundromat for 24 hour ice access, we have also painted all the rooms to match Cairns Motels decor,new prints,bar size fridges and New exterior steel doors have been added as well, We strive to make each property the same experience for our many guests who stay with us each year , We hope you will give us a try on your next visit to our beautiful Island !
